when Anna was at nursery school she reached for a jam tart on the table and another girl said ' actually i was going to have that ' . Anna belived her and let her have the tart  

 

Annas family had rattled away from Bognor in a removal van , they looked like film stars arriving in London in the rain feeling like travellers . Dad worked as a journalist and sometimes in cafes  . Mum felt the neighbours were watching them so hung up sheets at the windows  . She called her children little winks and tucked them up in white and pastel striped flanellette sheets 

 

Trevor interfered with the drains at the church art class and communications from the doctor . Hoping Anna will want him  . Shes tried going back to him a few times and he always heads straight for Emerald . He gets neighbours to slam doors to wake Anna up  

 

so she flew where the wind blew her . And she growled . Total freedom was hers , ending with a battering ram after 14 minutes . Bit of an action film with the car chase
