i made one of these for my aunt as an heirloom 

and didn't think of photographing my version 

which is unique and looks like the face 

of my mother and grandmother ... 

probably i didn't think of it because someone else designed it 

and because i regard needlework as 'uncool' 

i want to ask my aunt to photograph it 

without coming across as rude ... after all it was a gift to her 

and is it about to tell another story ....

the volunteer centre a nice warm friendly local atmosphere and id pop in for advice it was a real hub and you got people with mental illnesses into voluntary work and oh yes there was a  shop attached 

that personal human touch we used to have in this county we used to have standards .... computers have made things more impersonal anonymous mechanised
