Funny thing I've noticed on the mental health forum is people seem to be shocked when I talk about self care ! As if I'm some sort of pampered aristocrat who spends all day at health spas !

When those things are part of what's needed to recover from secondary traumas . And is to ones credit to be able to enjoy such things 

Listening to music,  exercise , facial massage . A beauty routine if you want one 

Which in my case consists of a sea salt shower gel !
